What is the 'Active' Carbon in BioLogic Blend?

There are different types of carbon in soil; when we talk about ‘Active’ Carbon we are referring to Humic Acid.

You have probably heard of Humic Acid as it is a component of organic carbon in healthy soil. Humic is also becoming an increasingly common input in agriculture.

Like phosphorus, nitrogen and other essential nutrients we ‘top-up’ when growing crops and plants, Humic Acid (and organic carbon) has depleted in most soils and can be a real limiting factor to farm productivity.

How does ‘Active’ Carbon work faster than other forms of carbon or organic matter applied to soil?
